Pack in Plastic

pack all of the belongings in transparent plastic bags (preferably zip lock), divided according to item form underwear, shorts, t-shirts etc. before packing them in to your bag. Each kind of clothing in a separate nylon bag. Packing like this is extremely useful in various ways. For example, when unpacking your backpack just take out from it some nylon bags so you can figure out straight off the bat what you want. That way spending the night simply entails unpacking 1 item out of your plastic bag - no rummaging. This makes being checked by customs a lot of more pleasant.
